We are always anxious to recruit new members and players and our Club Secretary would like to hear from you if you are interested in this excellent sport for ALL ages. This winter has seen the verandah roofing renewed and other improvements carried out in the clubhouse. Also we have all new notice boards (in club colours) which will brighten up the clubhouse. Thanks to all the Development Team for their contributions during the off season.
IMPORTANT: The main entrance door to the clubhouse has been fitted with a new lock. Please do NOT try to enter by using the old lock key. Get a new one from the Secretary!!!
LOOKING FORWARD TO 2016
The Green opens for play on 16 April 2016 with our usual opening get together to blow out the cobwebs. Thanks to Fixture Secretaries Dave King & Mary Shapland we have a full fixture card for the coming season.
The men welcome the challenge and opportunity to play in the MBA Leagues again and can guarantee all opposition clubs a warm welcome but a hard fought contest. However there are none more competitive than our Ladies who will once again be in there fighting to regain their title.
Fancy a day out bowling or just sight seeing? This year we head to Porthcawl for our day out on Sunday 14 August and welcome Weston Super Mare to our green on Sunday 17 July. All are welcome - bowlers and non-bowlers alike. Additionally we are looking forward to the visit of Brixham B.C. for a 6 rink game on Sunday 4 September.
Friendly Games - Stacks of opportunities to play Friendly games, both Triples and Fours. Competitive but friendly encounters take us across into Bristol, Gloucestershire and Royal Forest of Dean. Also games in Cardiff and the Valleys.
Interested in trying a new sport?
